Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the product called the Squatch?
The button on top of your cap is officially called a squatchee or squatcho. It sits at the apex, where the six panels of fabric meet. Originally, the button was used to hold the panels together, but now it’s mainly decorative, unless you have a Squatch.
What kinds of hats does The Squatch work with?
We have designed The Squatch to work with baseball style hats that have a squatcho (round button) on top.
How do I set up my Squatch?
The Squatch is very easy to set up. On the back of the Squatch is a QR code that will take you to a video showing you how to set it up. First, clean the surface where you want to stick the Squatch. Next, peel off the backing and press ‘The Squatch’ lightly onto the wall and tap gently. You do not need a lot of pressure. That’s it, your Squatch is ready to use.
What surfaces will The Squatch stick to?
The nano dot will stick to a variety of surfaces like walls, doors, lockers, cabinets, and can even stick to some rough surfaces such as wood or smooth stone.
What do I do if The Squatch falls off?
If your Squatch does fall off simply rinse off any dust/dirt or hair with warm soapy water and let it dry. Once its dry you can re-apply The Squatch to the wall.
How can I remove The Squatch without damaging my wall?
If you must remove The Squatch all you have to do is to press gently with your thumb on the logo and slowly twist The Squatch. This will help the nano dot release. Keep twisting slowly until The Squatch comes off.
